Job Description:

Explore Logics IT Agency is seeking a PHP Web Developer to join our growing agency team. This PHP developer should be skilled in all aspects of web development and responsible for the creation and implementation of a wide variety of web-based solutions using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, MVC, CSS, and AJAX. Work performed may include all aspects of our Clients’ web-based systems—including multiple websites and microsites—and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. This is a temp-to-hire role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic database-driven websites

• Develop and maintain websites and web-based solutions utilizing custom WordPress plugins

• Participate in the design and architecture of applications to meet business requirements

• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines

• Provide documentation as required and participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and routine status stand-ups

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements

• 2 years demonstrated development experience with hand-coding advanced HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and PHP

• Ability to install and manage PHP/MySQL

• Any MVC (Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP)

• Proven experience developing high-availability database-driven applications

• Working knowledge of enterprise-level Linux and Win OS

• Expert-level HTML and CSS skills

• Proven expertise with responsive design standards

• 2 years as a WordPress developer with a solid understanding of the framework, coding best practices, resources, and community

• CMS Drupal experience

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in service-based web design and development Agency

• E-commerce development experience

• Previous experience building custom themes and WordPress plugins and/or Drupal modules

Education

Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience preferred.
