ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   The Software Quality Assurance/ Test Engineer is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
•   Develop a comprehensive understanding of testing requirements after reviewing the requirement specification and software design specification documents.
•   Prepare, execute and monitor test plans.
•   Create test cases for functional, integration and performance testing as per required specifications.
•   Review and consolidate test specifications.
•   Prepare functional test reports.
•   Handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously.

REQUIREMENTS

•   A minimum of Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering and/or the relevant field. § 5+ years’ experience required.
•   Programming background with C#.
•   Knowledge or experience of automated testing tools.
•   Knowledge of MS SQL Server with basic SQL skills.
•   Knowledge in TFS, Postman, Jmeter.
•   Experience of working on high-traffic and large-scale Software products.
•   Knowledge of iPhone, android, and Web-based testing. 
•   Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in QA and Software Testing processes.
•   Capable to perform efficiently in stress-full conditions.
•   Effectively attain goals in designated dead-lines and time constraints.
•   Ability to take charge and complete work independently.
•   Fluent in spoken and written English.

PREFERRED SKILLS

•   Work experience in traditional and agile based teams is preferable.
•   Performance testing experience in JMeter including API testing.
•   Testing discipline knowledge like ISTQB etc.
•   Well organized, possess oriented, outstanding follow-through and attention to detail.
•   Independent, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure, teamwork, multitasking, analytical skills
