Core Responsibilities & Duties:

•  Design and build applications for the iOS platform.


•  Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.


•  Help maintain code quality and standards.


•  Write clean and reusable bits of code with high readability.


•  Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.


•  Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences.


•  Work along with web developers to design and maintain a robust API framework.

Skills:

•  Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.


•  Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.


•  Proficient with Swift 3+, Cocoa Touch Framework and XCode.


•  Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.


•  Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.


•  Familiarity with RESTful APIs.


•  Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.


•  Familiarity with Cocoa pods, 3rd party library integration and customization.


•  Experience with Auto-layout and programmatic layout building techniques.


•  Deep knowledge of design patterns.


•  Experience with MVVM pattern and clean architecture.


•  Familiarity with Rx framework and coordinator pattern.


•  Understanding of object oriented, functional and reactive programming.


•  Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.


•  Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.


•  Knack for benchmarking and optimization.


•  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.


•  Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards is a plus.
