ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To manage overall IT day to day operations to improve infrastructure costs, performance and end user satisfaction.
• Provide leadership in planning and managing computer operations and production support, systems and database administration and network operations.
• Provides Citrix, VM and Hyper V support and administration.
• Implement policies/standards to improve the quality and efficiency of support
• services based on ITIL methodology.
• Responsible for overall system and infrastructure availability and develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures.
• Responsible for day-to-day system administration, including management of internal network, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and system backups.
• Responsible for management of the rollout and support of desktop devices, including laptops and printers, and productivity tools such as Outlook and MSOffice.
•  Ensures that systems, processes and methodologies are maintained, followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
• Ensures delivery of individual and team projects allocated within aggressive delivery times.
• Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure service delivery methods and procedures.
• Maintains server uptime consistent with Business goals and metrics.
• Maintains and constantly improves server and network performance, reliability and
• Security.
• Provides Cisco & HP Switches, Mikrotik, Firewall and Routers support and administration.
• Provides technical support and guidance to Service Desk staff.
• Performs any other duties as may be required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Networks/Software/Telecom Engineering

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 12+ years appropriate experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery,
• preferably with a medium size organization
• Good understanding of Server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks,
• firewalls and load balancers, telecoms, etc.
• A very strong customer orientated approach with a delivery bias
• Ability to priorities and allocate resource/effort appropriately
• Experience of working with 3rd party service providers
• Proactive team player
• VMWare EXSi, VMware Vcenter, Veeam Backups, Hyper-V, Solarwinds
• Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 Administration
• Active Directory infrastructure
• Network infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, IIS and etc)
• Office 365 Administration, MS Exchange
• System Center Operations Manager, System Center Configurations Manager
• SQL Server Installation. Understanding of routing and switching
• Experience of using MS Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 Administration
• Experience of MS Windows 12/16 trouble shooting
• Experience of Printers/Scanners/Wireless equipment troubleshooting
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate across a broad spectrum of users
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Ability to manage through organizational change.
