Job Description:

A leading Software company, iTack Solutions, is looking for SQA Team Lead & Architect who has minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in Architecting new automated test strategies and frameworks to ensure timely delivery of releases.

In addition, he/she will execute and report on planned tests, report and manage defects, regress software fixes for new and existing products, assist development with replicating and debugging problems and develop new test automation solutions as needed.

The SQA Lead demonstrates innovation, leadership, and mentorship skills in addition to possessing a strong technical, communication and test automation skill set.

The candidate must have the following skills:

  •  6+ years of total experience with at least 4+ years of experience in Automation Framework Development
  •  Writes and maintain Test Automation
  •  Hands-on experience in developing & maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium in C# or Python
  •  Ideal candidate should be able to build and maintain CI/CD environment for continuous integration for faster release delivery
  •  Build framework and write scripts to improve daily runs, continuous integration process, and regression run results quality
  •  Should be familiar with AWS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
  •  Must be familiar with Databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server along with the ability to write/execute SQL Queries
  •  Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices
  •  Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
  •  Identify product issues and write detailed bug reports during the product development cycle
  •  Contribute to product and process improvements, and refinement of QA best practices
  •  Able to develop & mentor QA team and improve efficiency
  •  Consult and assist the QA team in establishing QA processes and procedures
  •  Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with manual testing
  •  Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking
  •  Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance etc. are included
  •  Lead monitoring of test execution across multiple code branches and multiple platforms
  •  Document, Test, Analyze and improve product performance during software development
  •  Work closely with product owners and development team
  • Ability to work independently, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player
  •  Having good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
